Peyton Manning had one of the greatest NFL careers ever for a quarterback, with the majority of his memorable moments happening this century.
Manning, a former Tennessee Vols standout who was selected by the Indianapolis Colts with the No. 1 overall pick in the 1998 NFL Draft, won two Super Bowls, earned five NFL MVP honors, and reached 13 Pro Bowls after the turn of the century.
Only one play from Manning's career, however, made CBS Sports' recent list of the top 25 NFL moments of the century.
And it's a moment that Manning undoubtedly wants to forget.
CBS Sports ranked New Orleans Saints defensive back Tracy Porter's pick-six off Manning in the fourth quarter of Super Bowl XLIV as the No. 17 best moment since 2000.
From CBS Sports: The 2009 New Orleans Saints were later penalized for their infamous bounty program, but they also served as a beacon of real hope for a city devasted by Hurricane Katrina a few years earlier. And their euphoric climb under Sean Payton and Drew Brees reached a fever pitch when Porter easily jumped a Peyton Manning pass in the fourth quarter of Super Bowl XLIV, sealing the team's first Lombardi Trophy.

Porter's pick-six essentially sealed the win for the Saints.
Earlier this year, during an appearance on New Heights, Manning called losing the Super Bowl a "horrible feeling".
"The one thing Eli (Manning) has no clue [about] and no understanding of is what it's like to lose a Super Bowl," said Manning. "And it's a horrible feeling. Winning is a great as you think it is and losing is as bad as you think it is."
For Manning's sake, let's hope he skips that CBS Sports article (and maybe this one, too).
