The Pittsburgh Steelers win over the New York Jets was highlighted by newcomers . DK Metcalf, Jonnu Smith, Jalen Ramsey and of course, Aaron Rodgers all played a massive role in the comeback win over the Jets in New York.
But it's all for not if Chris Boswell isn't on the team. The first team All-Pro from 2024 picked up right where he left off, even if he has yet to receive the raise he's been requesting . He hit a 60-yard field goal on the screws, essentially winning the Steelers the game and it left Mike Tomlin not speechless, but with an all-time quote instead:
"I can't say enough about Boz [Chris Boswell]," said Mike Tomlin after the game. "Our kicker is a serial kicker. He's got a low pulse rate. He can't wait to deliver."
"I can't say enough about [Boswell] --- our kicker is a serial killer." - Mike Tomlin

What was perhaps the most impressive part of this play was that the kick looked like it would have been good from another 5, maybe even 10 yards out. Add on the fact that he has a clutch gene like no other, and you shouldn't be surprised by Boswell's makes, but that doesn't mean you lose appreciation.
The past two years have seen Boswell make his field goals at an incredible clip. 93.35 percent to be exact. That's a stellar percentage if he played in a dome. But Boswell plays in not only the most competitive division in the league, but the one with some of the worst weather.
The amount of wind that comes over the water in Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, and Cleveland is enough to form a tornado. That's before you even consider the icy fields, frozen footballs and winter conditions he plays in most of the year.
Yet, to quote Coach Tomlin, his heart rate never changes. Which is good for the Steelers because if Sunday is any indication, they're going to need him again this year.
