Packers activate WR Allen Lazard ahead of Colts game

Coming off this past Sunday's 24-20 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Green Bay Packers sit atop the NFC North standings with a 7-2 record. Meanwhile, Most Valuable Player candidate Aaron Rodgers is getting his full assortment of weapons back for the pivotal stretch of the regular season.

Watch out, NFL.

The Packers officially activated wide receiver Allen Lazard off injured reserve on Tuesday. As Zach Kruse noted for Packers Wire/USA Today, Lazard hasn't played since he suffered a core muscle injury against the New Orleans Saints on Sept. 27. The 24-year-old is now on pace to play at the Indianapolis Colts this coming Sunday.

Lazard caught 13 of 17 balls thrown his way for 254 yards with two touchdowns before the injury. Per Kruse, this weekend could be the first time that Rodgers has Lazard, Davante Adams and Marquez Valdes-Scantling healthy and in the lineup together since Adams was temporarily sidelined by a hamstring issue he initially felt in the Week 2 win over the Detroit Lions.

Adams leads the Packers in catches (61), targets (81), receiving yards (741), and receiving scores (9).

According to ESPN stats, Rodgers leads the NFL with a total QBR of 84.8 and passer rating of 116.4.
