Christian Watons has yet to play a game in the 2025 NFL season, but he’s getting closer. He keeps himself busy preparing for whenever he makes his 2025 debut, with the Green Bay Packers already having activated him into a 21-day practice window.
Green Bay has up to Oct. 26 to make a decision on whether to put him on the final roster or not, but it seems that he is trending heavily in the former option.
Watson, who turned 26 years old in May, has not seen action in an NFL game since suffering an ACL injury in a Week 18 game against the Chicago Bears. He has 1,653 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns on 98 receptions through 38 games in the NFL, all with the Packers.
On Tuesday, Watson shared a photo of himself with his wife, Lakyn Adkins, that was taken during the Packers Family Night in August.
“Happy birthday to the wifey,” Watson posted along with a heart emoji, via Instagram Stories. “I love you @lakyn_watson,” added the former North Dakota State star wide receiver.
Watson and Adkins exchanged vows in April, as they got married in Malibu, California.
Several Packers players, past and present, attended their wedding, including the likes of De’Vondre Campbell, Aaron Jones, Bo Melton, Josiah Deguara, Samori Toure and Romeo Doubs, according to Erin Clack and Emily Strohm of PEOPLE.
Watson and Adkins also welcomed the newest member of their family, as she gave birth to a baby boy , Keaton Christian Watson, last week.
