There is nothing quite like the rivalry between the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears, and it’s about to get another intense chapter this coming Saturday, as the two NFC North rivals face off in an NFC Wild Card Round showdown at Soldier Field.
Green Bay and Chicago each won a game in their series in the 2025 NFL regular season, with the Packers winning at Lambeau Field and the Bears taking care of business at Soldier Field.
Saturday’s matchup will be in Soldier Field again, thanks to Chicago being the higher seed for winning the NFC North title.
The Packers-Bears rivalry is a culture of its own, and among the latest to add flavor to it is the cheese grater hats that are becoming more popular among Chicago fans — and players.
Following the Bears’ stunning overtime win 16 against Green Bay, Chicago wide receiver DJ Moore, who caught the game-winning touchdown, was seen sporting a foam cheese grater hat.

Fans have caught onto it, and one can expect many people wearing the same hat this Saturday at the Bears’ lair.
Meanwhile, former Green Bay star safety LeRoy Butler is having none of the chees graters.
“The thing about it, when you shred it, it’s still cheese,” the four-time Pro Bowler and Pro Football Hall of Famer told Kay Adams during a recent appearance on the “Up & Adams.”
At the end of the day, it’s not the hats that matter; it’s who wins on the field.
Butler surely knows what it’s like to win, having helped Green Bay take home the Vince Lombardi Trophy in 1997, when the Packers defeated the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XXXI.
