The all-time leading scorer in Green Bay Packers' history, former kicker Mason Crosby has the same record for his University of Colorado, with 307 points. A two-time first-team All-American in the 2000s, the special team will be recognized for his outstanding college performance, being inducted into the CU Athletic Hall of Fame in the 2025 class.

"I never set out chasing accolades like this, which is why being inducted into the Colorado Athletic Hall of Fame means so much," Crosby said via a CU statement. "It's a humbling moment to pause and reflect on how blessed I was to be a part of the Buffaloes tradition. I'm incredibly grateful to Coach Gary Barnett—not only for recognizing potential in me, but for helping set a course that ultimately led me to a career in the NFL and the honor of becoming a Super Bowl champion."

Crosby played at Colorado from 2003 to 2006, converting 66 of 88 field goals and 109 of 117 extra points. In 2005, he was named the Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Year.

"When I think back on my time in Boulder, it's not just the games—it's the people," Crosby added. "The team camaraderie, the wins over Colorado State, and the incredible support staff who made sure we thrived on and off the field. None of this would've been possible without my parents. Their steadfast belief in me and sacrifices gave me the opportunity to be part of a program like Colorado. I carry their love and support with me every step of the way."

Coming out of Colorado, Mason Crosby was a sixth-round pick by the Green Bay Packers in 2007. In the NFL, he was the league's leading scorer in 2007 and won Super Bowl XLV. The kicker played 16 seasons for the Packers, until 2022, after having brief experiences with the Los Angeles Rams and New York Giants before retirement. Now, Crosby is back in Wisconsin with his own sports radio show on 105.7 The Fan Milwaukee.
