Packers tight end Tucker Kraft is in the midst of authoring his own breakout story this season.
The 24-year-old is well on his way to setting new career highs, while catching 30 passes for 469 yards with six touchdowns through the season’s seven weeks and is fresh off his most dominant performance of the 2025 campaign as the driving force of the Packers’ win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Sunday night against the Steelers was emblematic of both Kraft’s role in the Packers’ passing game, and what makes him such a dangerous weapon, at the tight end position.
Kraft is quickly developing a reputation as one of the most effective and explosive tight ends after the catch.
Sunday night, Kraft posted more than 131 yards after the catch, on his way to pulling down a season-high seven receptions for 143 yards and two scores, as Jordan Love’s most reliable and effective target.
“He was a beast,” Packers head coach Matt LaFleur told reporters, of Kraft. “He was a man possessed. You’ve just got to find ways to get him the ball.”

Kraft”s Sunday night explosion wasn’t a one-off, either. The Packers’ star tight end entered Sunday night leading all NFL Tight Ends in Yards After the Catch, averaging nine per reception, with Indianapolis Colts rookie in second place, at 7.7.
As Green Bay looks for the receiving corps to take major steps, Kraft has become a dangerous weapon for Love and the rest of the offense, and as dangerous a playmaker in the open field and after the catch as he is a reliable target.
