Over the last two years, the Philadelphia Eagles have become synonymous with the 'Tush Push,' a quarterback sneak that also features multiple players who line up behind and come in to give a final shove to gain just a bit more yardage.
It's a play generally used in short-yardage situations, such as fourth and one, or if the offense is stopped on the one-yard line.
It's continuously worked extremely well, and according to Jeff Kerr of CBS Sports, its success rate was 88.1% in 2023 and 82.4% in 2024.
However, not everyone loves the play, and it was reported on Monday that the Green Bay Packers, led by team president Mark Murphy have submitted a proposal to the NFL's competition committee to outlaw it.
The Green Bay Packers are the team that submitted a proposal to the NFL’s competition committee to ban the tush push, per sources.

Many fans have now taken to social media to either criticize or praise the Packers for their decision.
"Good for them. The tush push is a play that should be banned," said one comment.
"The #Packers are somehow more salty about the #Eagles than the other teams that have repeatedly beaten them. Somebody in Green Bay must’ve lost a lot of sleep seeing them win the Super Bowl," said another.
"A rare time I'm on board with Green Bay," a third added.
"Eagles own them and our QB is better - makes sense," a fourth continued.
"Thanks for taking one for the team, Packers," a fifth stated.
"I hate Philly, but banning the tush push because other teams are mad they can’t stop it is stupid. #NFL," said another.
It is worth noting that these two teams played twice in 2024, in Week 1 and the wild-card round, with the Eagles winning both times, but in neither game did they score a touchdown on a "Tush Push."
