Green Bay Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard celebrated the NFL's decision Friday to rescind his $10,609 fine for taunting during Week 16 against the Miami Dolphins.
The penalty came after Lazard made a block — taking out three Dolphins defenders — and proceeded to count them all with his right pointer finger for everyone to see.
Guys… they aren’t going to fine me anymore for counting to 3!!! #JusticeIsServed pic.twitter.com/qyuAGC3sPG

The 27-year-old Iowa St. product finished the Christmas Day game — a 26-10 win — with five receptions for 61 yards on 11 targets. Lazard set career highs in targets (100), receptions (60) and receiving yards (788) during the 2022 campaign, while scoring six touchdowns through the air.
His targets, catches and receiving yards led all Green Bay players this season, while the six scores trailed only rookie sensation Christian Watson. With back-to-back reigning MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers having a down year, though, Lazard posted a career-worst 60% catch percentage.
The NFL's decision regarding Lazard comes just one day after it also rescinded a $50,000 fine against Cameron Jordan of the New Orleans Saints for allegedly faking an injury. Saints defensive line coach Ryan Nielsen was originally fined $50,000, head coach Dennis Allen was fined $100,000 and the team was docked $350,000 as well, but all three appeals were won by New Orleans.
