The top-seeded Green Bay Packers will host the sixth-seeded San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Divisional round on Saturday. According to ESPN's Rob Demovsky, the Pack will have one of the faces of their franchise back on the field for the first time since Week 12.
Demovsky added that All-Pro offensive tackle David Bakhtiari would practice on Wednesday and the team would play it by ear after that.
Matt LaFleur just green-lighted Randall Cobb to play Saturday night vs. the 49ers and said David Bakhtiari will practice today and then they will see how he responds.

Cobb -- a second-round draft selection by Green Bay in 2011 -- has been designated to return from injured reserve and posted 28 receptions for 375 yards and five touchdowns in the regular season. He spent the first eight years of his career with the Packers before spending 2019 with the Dallas Cowboys and 2020 with the Houston Texans, and then being traded back to Green Bay in 2021.
Bakhtiari suffered a season-ending knee injury during Week 16 last season that also kept him out the first 17 contests of the 2021 campaign. The 2013 draft pick made a return in Week 18 and played 27 snaps though before joining the team on their first-round bye.
Bakhtiari earned Pro Bowl nods in 2016, 2018 and 2019, while being named first-team All-Pro in 2018 and 2020.
