The Carolina Panthers spent much of their time yesterday supplying quarterback Bryce Young with some protection. Today, the defense gets some help and much-needed help at that.
A few hours ago, the Panthers landed big run stuffer A'Shawn Robinson and now, they have agreed to terms on a deal with former Denver Broncos linebacker Josey Jewell. According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, Jewell gets a three-year, $22.75M deal with a $7M signing bonus and $10M fully guaranteed at signing.
In 2022, his lone year with Ejiro Evero has his defensive coordinator, Jewell set single-season career highs in tackles (128), tackles for loss (7), sacks (2.5), passes defended (4) and interceptions (2).
