Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes is preparing for Super Bowl LIX, which will be played on February 9 in New Orleans against the Philadelphia Eagles.

This will be the third straight Super Bowl for Mahomes and the Chiefs as they search for the historic three-peat.

However, the Chiefs star QB took to X late Saturday to share thoughts about something else.

Out of nowhere, a report came that the Los Angeles Lakers were acquiring Luka Doncic from the Dallas Mavericks in exchange for a package featuring Anthony Davis.

It is a three-team deal with multiple players and picks and the Utah Jazz as the third team.

Mahomes, a big Mavericks fan, took to X after the news broke and admitted he was "sick."

"Wait what?" Mahomes wrote. Right after, he quoted the post and said, "I'm sick rn."

Mahomes is originally from Texas and played college football at Texas Tech. The Chiefs star has made himself known for being a huge Mavs fan while attending games regularly in Dallas.

However, he made clear his thoughts on the trade, one that saw 25-year-old Luka Doncic go to the Lakers in exchange for 31-year-old Anthony Davis in a wild turn of events.
