Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes had his worst game of the season in a 20-3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks Sunday. Help may be on the way, though. Wide receiver Rashee Rice (hamstring) and right tackle Jaylon Moore (concussion) participated in practice Wednesday.

Mahomes was constantly under pressure, and he couldn’t find anyone to throw to. Mahomes went 19-for-33 for 165 yards, no touchdowns and one INT in the team’s first defeat. He was pressured nine times and hit six times as the right side of the offensive line really crumbled. Furthermore, five wide receivers combined for six catches for 39 yards.

The potential returns of Rice and Moore would help shore up both fronts. Rice has missed the previous two games with a hamstring injury, and Moore is returning from a concussion. Joshua Ezeudu filled in at right tackle and was exposed.

Rice has 13 catches for 190 yards and a touchdown on the season. He had two catches for 19 yards and the lone touchdown against the Denver Broncos, who the Chiefs face in Week 8.
