Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes has had an unbelievable career in the NFL thus far. In nine professional seasons, Mahomes has thrown for 35,939 yards and 267 touchdowns with 85 interceptions. He is averaging 285.2 passing yards per game in his career, which is the best all-time.
Mahomes has made six Pro Bowl appearances, won a pair of AP NFL MVP awards and has collected three Super Bowl titles in his illustrious Kansas City career.
Despite all the accolades throughout his tenure in the NFL, the 2025 season was not one to remember for Mahomes or the Chiefs. Kansas City missed the playoffs for the first time since 2014, finishing the regular season with a 6-11 record.
Mahomes started 14 games this past season for Kansas City, completing 62.7% of his passes for 3,587 yards and 22 touchdowns with 11 interceptions. His completion percentage, passing yards total and touchdown number were all his lowest since becoming the Chiefs' starter in 2018.
His year came to an early end on Dec. 14 against the Los Angeles Chargers when he tore the ACL and LCL in his knee.
On Saturday, the Associated Press released its All-Pro rosters, and Mahomes was not selected as the quarterback for either the first or second team.

This marked the third straight season he did not show up on the list, as Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford was the first-team selection and New England Patriots signal-caller Drake Maye made the second team.
Mahomes has had three AP All-Pro selections in his career, being on the first team in 2018 and 2022 and the second team in 2020.
While the timetable for Mahomes' return from injury is uncertain, there's no doubt he will look to get back to his All-Pro form when he gets back on the field.
