Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and wife Brittany Mahomes are now the proud parents of three children. Patrick points to his own parents, Pat Sr. and Randi, for having a major influence on his parenting style.
The Chiefs quarterback received an early introduction into life as a professional athlete because his dad, Pat Sr., was an MLB pitcher from 1992-2003. Patrick's mom Randi is a regular at Chiefs games supporting her son on and off the field.
The NFL star's family received praise from Patrick for pushing him to "follow my dreams."
“I think both my parents just really taught me how to follow my dreams,” Mahomes told NFL Network in 2023, per The Kansas City Star. “I think that was the biggest thing. They didn’t care if I was an athlete. They didn’t care where I was going. They just told me to follow my dreams, do whatever I could to have no regrets at the end of the day.
“And so I think that’s what I’m trying to do with my kids now is, obviously, I’m trying to parent in my own way, but I want them to enjoy life," Patrick continued.
