The Chiefs came up short in their quest to become the first team to win three-straight Super Bowl Championships on Sunday night.

The Eagles beat the Chiefs 44-22. Patrick Mahomes dapped up his teammates on the sideline, including Travis Kelce, but skipped running back Samaje Perine.

Perine made a game changing play in the Chiefs' win over the Bills in the AFC Championship Game.

It was his first season in Kansas City. Perine spent four seasons in Cincinnati, before signing with Denver in 2023. He signed with the Chiefs in August.
