Patrick Queen Reveals Steelers Jersey Number

The Pittsburgh Steelers are making a slight change to their tradition, allowing Patrick Queen to become just the second linebacker in team history to wear a single-digit number. 

During his introductory press conference, Queen said he'll be wearing number six with the Steelers - bringing it over from his time with the Baltimore Ravens.

"I'm truly thankful they're going to let me wear single-digit six," Queen said. 

Queen said he's looking to be the "villain" of the Steelers-Ravens rivalry after switching teams, and expressed his excitement to play in front of a "rowdy" crowd of Steelers fans. 

"I'm where I want to be and I'm happy," Queen said.

Queen will join Elandon Roberts, Mark Robinson and Cole Holcomb in the inside linebacker room, immediately taking over as a starter and the top member of the group. 

Queen signed a three-year deal with Pittsburgh worth $41 million. He joins Russell Wilson, Cameron Johnston and DeShon Elliott as the first round of free agency signings for the Steelers.
