New England Patriots fans and beat reporters discovered former Tennessee Vols quarterback Joe Milton's hidden talent on Wednesday.
Though it's actually not really that "hidden" -- at least if you're a Tennessee fan.
During Patriots minicamp on Wednesday, Milton, a sixth round draft pick by New England in the 2024 NFL Draft, did a somersault onto the ground before standing and doing a backflip.

Milton would often break out a backflip at random moments during his time at Tennessee.

Milton's elite athleticism is obvious. And it's one of the reasons why there's some confidence that Milton can beat out Bailey Zappe for the No. 3 quarterback job with the Patriots this summer.
Patriots head coach Jerod Mayo, who is also a former Vol, revealed this week that New England will carry four quarterbacks during training camp, which means the decision between Milton and Zappe likely won't be made until final roster cuts before the start of the 2024 season.
