The New England Patriots extended their impressive run on “Monday Night Football” with a 33-15 win over the New York Giants, continuing a surge that has defined their 2025 campaign. New England struck quickly, building a 17-0 first-quarter lead behind quarterback Drake Maye, who completed 24 of 31 passes for 282 yards and two touchdowns.

Marcus Jones added a 94-yard punt return score, while Andy Borregales converted four field goals to help the Patriots control the game from start to finish. The offense remained balanced throughout, and the defense limited the Giants to one touchdown as New England improved their record after another decisive outing.

The win marked the Patriots’ 10th straight victory, pushing them to 11-2. In the process, they set a historic benchmark. Per the NFL, New England has now recorded 10 consecutive games scoring at least 23 points while allowing 23 or fewer – the longest such streak in league history.

The combination of offensive efficiency and defensive discipline has become their defining trait this season and is one of the clearest indicators of their championship potential.

History supports that optimism. The previous teams to produce versions of this streak – including the 1961 Houston Oilers, who had a nine-game run – went on to win the Super Bowl or Championship.

New England’s ability to sustain production on both sides of the ball has positioned them as one of the league’s most complete teams entering the final stretch of the regular season.

Head coach Mike Vrabel and the Patriots will now look to maintain their momentum through a difficult upcoming slate. They head into a Week 14 bye before returning to face the Buffalo Bills in Week 15, followed by a matchup with the Baltimore Ravens the next week. Both opponents remain firmly in the AFC playoff mix, and will be desperate to solidify their positioning.

With New England sitting comfortably on top of the AFC East standings, they will aim to extend their record-setting streak and solidify their standing as one of the NFL’s top contenders.
