PFF names Buffalo Bills' biggest bounce-back candidate 2024
Jamie Germano/Democrat and Chronicle / USA TODAY NETWORK

On Friday, Pro Football Focus named the top bounce-back candidate for each NFL team in 2024.

PFF went with defensive lineman DaQuan Jones as the Bills' biggest bounce-back candidate.

Jones, a former Penn State standout, missed 10 games for the Bills last season while dealing with a pectoral injury.

From PFF: Jones was terrific in 2023, with his 82.9 overall grade slotting 12th among defensive tackles to play 200 or more snaps. The issue, though, was that Jones tore his pec, preventing him from exceeding that playing time.

A healthy Jones could showcase his long-term talent, truly creating a name for himself amid a Buffalo defensive line with no shortage of skill.

Jones, who started his career with the Tennessee Titans before landing with Buffalo in 2022 (he had a one year stint with the Carolina Panthers in 2021), has been incredibly durable for most of his career. But freak injuries happen and that's what happened to Jones last season in Week 5.

Jones, who signed a two year extension with Buffalo earlier this offseason, returned last season for the playoffs, playing in two games and totaling three tackles before the Bills were eliminated from post-season play.
