The Philadelphia Eagles have started off their defense of last year’s Super Bowl win with a 3-0 record to begin the 2025 NFL season. Even though all three wins haven’t been pretty, they are finding ways to win just like they did last year.

No one can deny that the Eagles are once again a legitimate Super Bowl contender in the NFC. They are still stacked with talent on both sides of the football and they’re still led by an elite coaching staff. However, some have become annoyed with watching Philadelphia and how it wins.

Again, it hasn’t been pretty. The Eagles have not been extremely dominant with their wins.

One NFL legend spoke out and fired a major shot at Philadelphia, especially on the offensive side of the football.

Former NFL superstar quarterback Drew Brees made his thoughts very clear about the Eagles. He does not enjoy watching their offense play at all.

“I respect Philly,” Brees said. “They are winning games…..I can’t stand to watch that offense. It’s the most boring offense.”

No one can argue against Brees’ comments. Philadelphia does not play a very exciting brand of offense. Hurts and company simply do enough each and every week to put themselves in position to win football games.

So far this season, the Eagles are the No. 27 ranked offense in terms of yards. As for scoring, they’re ranked No. 8. They don’t move the football a ton, but they do find ways to score points.

Brees clearly isn’t a fan of the way Nick Sirianni’s team plays offensively and quite a few would agree with him. But, what no one can argue against is the fact that Philadelphia has found a way to win. To this point, the Eagles have not slowed down at all from last year.

It will be interesting to see if Philadelphia can continue its winning ways as the 2025 season moves on. The Eagles have not won by more than one possession through three games. Perhaps that will be enough, but it might become problematic later in the year.
