The Pittsburgh Steelers arrived to Dublin on Friday, Sept. 26 ahead of a showdown against the Minnesota Vikings.

Just hours later, quarterback Skylar Thompson got "jumped and robbed" in Dublin and suffered minor injuries, according to a report from NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero. Thompson, who is on injured reserve, is reportedly feeling okay and with the team on Sunday.

"We are aware of a situation involving Skylar Thompson on Friday night in Dublin. We will have no further comment at this time as we are working with NFL security to gather more information regarding the incident," a statement from Steelers spokesman Burt Lauten read.

Earlier in the week, quarterback Aaron Rodgers made it clear he wasn't happy with the team's travel plans and preferred to arrive much earlier to get accustomed to the country.

"It is what it is, but if the schedule had been a little different, if I could have chosen it, maybe we get over on Monday; Tuesday is the day off," Rodgers said during a pre-practice news conference Friday. "Good to get out, see some things. It's a beautiful country, it seems like, from pictures."

Steelers owner Art Rooney II agreed, but ultimately made a joint decision with the NFL on arriving Friday.

"I would've liked to have the guys over here for a few more days, too," Rooney said. "But we're in the middle of the season, so we had to do what's best for the football side of things."

Pittsburgh and Minnesota kick off at 9:30 a.m. ET. The game will be broadcast on NFL Network and NFL+.
