Quandre Diggs Seemingly Makes His Pick for Next Titans QB
Denny Simmons / The Tennessean / USA TODAY NETWORK

The Tennessee Titans are shaping up to be one of the most interesting No. 1 pick holders in recent years. In six of the last seven years, the team that has held the No. 1 pick in the draft has used it on a quarterback.

The Titans do have a need at quarterback but this is considered a weak class and they have needs all over the roster. However, Miami quarterback Cam Ward may have done enough to win over one key Titans player.

Pro Bowl safety Quandre Diggs was asked about his thoughts on Ward and he has an interesting response.

"Best QB and LEADER in the draft!!" Diggs wrote on X.

Diggs has played around quarterbacks like Matthew Stafford and Russell Wilson so he's seen high-level players at the position. He's not under contract with the Titans next season but it sounds like he wouldn't mind if they took Ward with the No. 1 pick.

This is going to be a big decision for new general manager Mike Borgonzi to make. There are some very good prospects at the top of the draft like Travis Hunter and Abdul Carter. Those pieces could be instant impact players for years to come.

Ward could turn the franchise around quickly if he's the real deal but it's a major risk. It's also possible the Titans could still trade down and add more draft picks. That might be their best move if they aren't sold on any of the quarterbacks at the top of the draft.
