Raiders fan debunks myth regarding Chiefs fan burying flag under Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas
Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

The Las Vegas Raiders fanbase is in a dilemma. Half of the fan base doesn't want the Kansas City Chiefs to win the Super Bowl; half doesn't want the San Francisco 49ers to win the Super Bowl. On one hand, it's your division rival, and the other is your old Bay Area neighbor. With Allegiant Stadium being the host for the Super Bowl, it's something Raiders are truly struggling with.

Before the Raiders moved to Las Vegas, and when the Stadium was being built, there was a picture of a Chiefs fan who was a construction worker at the Stadium, burying a Chiefs flag under where the Stadium is currently.

It's been a running joke for a while now that where the Stadium lays is still "Chiefs country" because of that. However, one Raiders fan just debunked that.

This Raiders fan on Twitter posted pictures of himself with that same flag in 2017 when the flag was supposedly buried. The story is that he went and unburied it.

Just to prove that the pictures weren't fake, as that can be easily done today, he posted his entire camera roll with several takes of good pictures that were on his phone.

So, while Raiders fans are busy being depressed this week, next week, and for a while afterward, this is something that can certainly make them feel better.
