Fresh off helping the Seattle Seahawks capture Super Bowl LX, Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak acknowledged his impending move to Las Vegas following Sunday’s win. “You guys know I’m going to Las Vegas,” Kubiak said. “I’m fired up about it.”
Kubiak earned the Raiders job after orchestrating one of the most productive offenses in the NFL during his lone season in Seattle. After first-year head coach Mike Macdonald reshaped the Seahawks’ identity, Kubiak was brought in to modernize and balance the offense and the results were immediate.
Seattle leaned heavily into a versatile run game featuring the physical Zach Charbonnet and explosive Kenneth Walker III, while also unlocking a breakout year from Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who led the NFL with 1,793 receiving yards.
Perhaps most impressively, Kubiak continued to get elite-level production out of quarterback Sam Darnold, guiding an offense that exceeded all preseason expectations.
Seattle finished the regular season:
8th in yards per game (351.4)
3rd in points per game (28.4)
The Seahawks went 14-3, the best record in franchise history, and secured the organization’s second Super Bowl championship.
Kubiak’s play-calling shined brightest late in the year, particularly in two decisive wins over the Los Angeles Rams. Seattle scored 69 combined points in those matchups, including a game-winning overtime drive in the regular-season finale that proved pivotal to the Super Bowl run.

The Raiders job marks Kubiak’s first opportunity as an NFL head coach. It also ends his third stint as an offensive coordinator. Following stops with the Minnesota Vikings in 2021 and the New Orleans Saints in 2024.
Kubiak now takes over a Las Vegas Raiders franchise coming off a brutal 3–14 campaign in 2025. Las Vegas holds the No. 1 overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft. Giving Kubiak and the front office a chance to reset the organization’s direction immediately.
After proving himself on the sport’s biggest stage. Kubiak now faces a different kind of test rebuilding a struggling Raiders team and translating Super Bowl success into long-term stability in Las Vegas.
