Raiders' Marx Crosby Hints at Eagles Trade

Las Vegas Raiders star defensive end Maxx Crosby set the internet ablaze as he posted a quote saying "Life Is Beautiful" and then inserted an emoji of an Eagle.

Was he referring to the Philadelphia Eagles?

There have been plenty of trade rumors circulating around the league involving Crosby, but despite all of the Raiders' failures in recent years, he has always remained humble and never asked for a trade.

Could this be some subliminal message he wants to be traded to the Philadelphia Eagles? That is the way it is being interpreted, according to Marca.com.

"The post immediately grabbed attention, fueling speculation that Crosby could be hinting at a move to the Philadelphia Eagles," Marca wrote. "Given the ongoing uncertainty surrounding his future with the Raiders, could this be an early sign of a blockbuster trade?"

Crosby is currently under contract for two more years. He signed a four-year, $94 million extension in 2022.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero recently reported that his future with the team is "up in the air". The Raiders are looking toward a youth movement under their new administration and they might be looking to make a move if given the right offer with the right package of draft choices.

Crosby would be attractive to any team as he is still only 27 years of age and is considered one of the best defensive ends in the league.

New coach Pete Carroll has a history of moving high-priced, veterans for draft choices and Crosby could fit in that category.

Crosby missed most of last season with a lower-extremity injury that landed him on injured reserve. He should be healthy for OTA's.

The Raiders need replacements at a host of positions and Howie Roseman, general manager of the Eagles, is not shy about adding superstars to his team while they are still in their prime.
