The Las Vegas Raiders’ search for their next general manager is in full swing.
The Raiders have already established two candidates so far. They are set to interview Tampa Bay Buccaneers assistant GM John Spytek this week, and have requested to interview Green Bay Packers vice president of player personnel Jon-Eric Sullivan.
Now, the Raiders have submitted requests to three more candidates, all of whom have unique backgrounds that will interest the team.
The first new candidate is Pittsburgh Steelers director of pro scouting Sheldon White, with NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport breaking the news on Las Vegas’s interest.

A former NFL cornerback, White started his executive career as a scout with the Detroit Lions in 1997. He advanced his way through the organization for almost two decades, including serving as interim general manager in 2015.
He has also worked with the Michigan State Spartans and Washington Commanders before joining the Steelers in 2022. The Steelers have made several impactful signings during White’s tenure, including defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi, linebacker Patrick Queen and quarterback Russell Wilson.
On Wednesday, the Raiders also requested interviews with New York Giants assistant GM Brandon Brown and Los Angeles Chargers assistant GM Chad Alexander.

#Chargers assistant GM Chad Alexander was requested to interview for the #Raiders vacant GM job, source said.
The first big hire of GM Joe Hortiz, Alexander is a rising member of the LA front office and was a participant in the NFL’s Accelerator Program in Dallas.

While the Giants have struggled on the field, NFL front offices still consider Brown a rising star in the executive world. Last offseason, the Chargers and Carolina Panthers both interviewed him for their general manager vacancies.
Before joining the Giants in 2022, Brown spent five seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles. He worked his way up under one of the best general managers in the league in Howie Roseman, serving in roles such as director of pro scouting and director of player personnel.
Meanwhile, Alexander joined the Chargers this past offseason, reuniting with general manager Joe Hortiz in Los Angeles. The two worked together with the Baltimore Ravens, with Alexander spending 20 seasons with the organization.
Prior to joining the Chargers, Alexander spent five seasons with the New York Jets as their director of player personnel. He played a major role in the Jets drafting cornerback Sauce Gardner and wide receiver Garrett Wilson in 2022, who ultimately won the Defensive and Offensive Rookies of the Year.
All three candidates have impressive resumes to bring to the table, and it will be interesting to see how they measure up to other candidates as the search continues.
