Raiders rookie minicamp dates revealed by NFL

It will not be long until the Las Vegas Raiders get their first look at how Ashton Jeanty and the rest of the 2025 rookie class work.

The NFL announced on Wednesday that the Raiders will hold their rookie minicamp between May 9 through May 11. The minicamp allows head coach Pete Carroll and the coaching staff to get to know the players they just drafted, seeing where they work best in their scheme and what areas of improvement are necessary.

Shortly after, the Raiders will begin organized team activities (OTAs) starting from May 19 and going periodically until June 5. From there, mandatory minicamp will take place on June 10-12, before the players break off and reconvene for training camp shortly before the season begins.

For Carroll and his staff, this is the first real opportunity they get to see how their players work in a professional setting. They have their vision of how the Raiders want to look in 2025, and they are confident that the rookies they drafted will fit into that vision somewhere. Rookie minicamp gives the Raiders the chance to figure out any remaining questions, before beginning to implement their desired changes later in the off-season.

If the early returns on Carroll are anything to go by, the rookies can expect to be pushed to compete early and often, starting with this rookie minicamp.
