The Los Angeles Rams added needed depth to their offensive line in a player with a ton of starting experience. With the team signing former Pro Bowl tackle D.J. Humphries ahead of the 2025 season

Rams sign former first round pick D.J. Humphries

The Rams' NFC West rivals, the Arizona Cardinals, drafted Humphries in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He spent the first nine years of his career with the Cardinals and started 98 games. This past year, he signed with the Kansas City Chiefs and started two games for the AFC champions. It was reported that Humphries was going to sign with the San Francisco 49ers back in April, but a deal never got finalized.

He does still make his return to the NFC West, but instead joins the Rams. He will turn 32 years old this season in December. Humphries gives the Rams a solid depth tackle who has started 100 NFL games and was voted to the Pro Bowl in 2021. The goal here is that he helps to raise the floor of the group if anyone has to miss time. Because if you don't have a plan behind your starting offensive line, it just takes one injury to derail a season, and the Rams can't afford to waste another year of Matthew Stafford's career.
