Puka Nacua and the Los Angeles Rams looked to get back on track as they hit the road to face Kirk Cousins and the Atlanta Falcons in Week 17's edition of "Monday Night Football." The Rams are coming off a disappointing Week 16 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, a game that dropped them to third place in the NFC West.

Entering the game, Nacua had recorded 298 catches for 4,068 yards and 17 touchdowns over his three-year NFL career. With 1:23 remaining in the second quarter, Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford connected with Nacua over the middle for an eight-yard gain. This marked the former BYU wideout’s second reception of the night and the 300th of his career.

In doing so, Nacua became the fastest player in NFL history to reach 300 receptions, accomplishing the milestone in just 43 games. The Los Angeles star surpassed several legendary wide receivers for the record, including former New Orleans Saints standout Michael Thomas and ex- New York Giants star Odell Beckham Jr., both of whom reached 300 catches in 45 games.

Nacua’s record may not come as a surprise to many fans. The star wide receiver has averaged 7.1 receptions over his first 42 games, while also hauling in 114 catches through his first 14 games of the 2025 season, an average of 8.14 receptions per game.

"Puka Nacua became the fastest player to reach 300 career receptions (43 games), surpassing Michael Thomas and Odell Beckham Jr. (45 games each)," Los Angeles Rams PR wrote on X.

Following the Falcons matchup, Nacua and the Rams will finish out the regular season with a Week 18 battle against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET.
