Aaron Donald‘s return to the Rams is the biggest news in the NFL on an action-packed Sunday, but the team also had plenty of other business to conduct. After making several cuts on Saturday, the Rams finished assembling their 53-man roster on Sunday. These players did not make it…

Released:

  • WR Alex Bachman
  • G Blake Hance
  • DT Larrell Murchison

Waived/injured:

  • CB Alex Johnson

Waived:

Los Angeles is at least temporarily moving on from Murchison, who had been with the team since it claimed him from the Titans late in the 2022 season. He tallied 45 tackles, five QB hits and four sacks over 34 games with the Rams. After Murchison got into 16 games and notched two sacks last year, he re-signed with the Rams on a one-year, $1.22MM deal in March. The Rams included a guaranteed $330,300, which will count as dead money, but they will save $774,700.

Keenan is the lone member of the Rams’ 2026 five-player draft class to miss the cut. They took the former Alabama defensive tackle in the seventh round (No. 232 overall). Keenan faced long odds to earn a roster spot on a packed Rams line, especially after Donald came out of retirement. If the 6-foot-2, 335-pounder clears waivers, he could end up on the Rams’ practice squad.
