The Los Angeles Rams are enjoying quite a successful season with an 8-2 record. They are one of the top two contenders for the Super Bowl this year, along with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Earlier in the season, they lost 33-26 to Philadelphia. What's surprising is that Los Angeles was ahead until the end of the third quarter. They lost it all in the fourth and their recent roster decision was surely to ensure that it never repeats.
The Rams moved to bolster their edge depth on Tuesday, with reports saying former Arizona Cardinals outside linebacker Jesse Luketa is signing with the team. The move was first reported by NFL insider Jordan Schultz.

Luketa will join the Rams’ practice squad. The addition comes after Los Angeles opened a spot on the unit earlier this week, giving the team flexibility to add a pass rusher with recent game experience.
Luketa, a Penn State Nittany Lions product, played for the Cardinals and saw his most significant action last season. In 10 games, he recorded three sacks and forced one fumble, numbers that helped him draw interest despite a midseason thigh injury that ended his year.
The signing arrives with the Rams preparing to host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday at SoFi Stadium.
For Luketa, the chance represents a quick path back into a front-line NFL environment. The former seventh-round pick has experience on special teams and in sub-packages, traits that generally make players attractive practice-squad additions late in the season.
