The Kansas City Chiefs are entering their bye week with being undefeated still with a 4-0 record. While the Chiefs have a great start to the 2026 NFL season, this Las Vegas Raiders win came with a cost as Rashee Rice was another wide receiver who ended up exiting the game early on.
Later on, head coach Andy Reid went on to announce that Rice ended up sustaining a tweaked hamstring injury. Reid’s comments provide a little bit of hope as a hamstring is a bit better. Rice’s injury adds even more importance as Tyquan Thornton also suffered an injury,
If Rice has to miss time, it will not lead to success for the Chiefs as this would have to lean on Xavier Worthy to lead an already depleted receiver room. Thankfully Kenneth Walker can lead things on the ground, but Rice’s status will still loom large.
