The Baltimore Ravens have had some of the NFL's best superstars since the turn of the century, headlined by linebacker Ray Lewis, safety Ed Reed, quarterback Joe Flacco, quarterback Lamar Jackson, and running back Derrick Henry. However, tight end Mark Andrews is an underrated piece of Ravens lore.
Baltimore drafted the Arizona native No. 86 overall out of Oklahoma in 2018, and he made his first Pro Bowl appearance the following year. He then earned his second Pro Bowl selection and a first-team All-Pro placement in 2021 after catching 107 passes for 1,361 yards and nine touchdowns. He ranked sixth in the NFL in receiving yardage and tied for eighth in touchdowns.
The Ravens announced that Andrews made franchise history during Sunday's matchup with the Cleveland Browns, via social media.
"RECORD-BREAKING CATCH FOR [MARK ANDREWS]," they said. "TUNE IN ON CBS."
The three-time Pro Bowler notched an 11-yard catch with 10:39 left in the first quarter, making him Baltimore's all-time receiving yardage leader. He entered the game with 5,774 career yards , which was three behind former wide receiver Derrick Mason, via Pro Football Reference.

Andrews has enjoyed a successful partnership with Jackson, whom the Ravens also drafted in 2018. Jackson and Flacco each had extended playing time under center in 2018, but Jackson took the reins after that.
Andrews was the team's leading receiver in 2019, 2021, and 2022. While the 30-year-old's production has declined since then, he was still third on the squad in each of the last two years and was second this season entering Sunday (244 yards).
Third-year wideout Zay Flowers has been Jackson's favorite target since last season. The 25-year-old notched a team-high 74 catches for 1,059 yards and four scores in 2024 and entered the Browns game with a team-high 50 catches for 625 yards and one touchdown. However, Andrews led with five touchdowns.
Baltimore came into Sunday 4-5 after starting the season 1-5. Backup quarterback Tyler Huntley led it to a 30-16 win over the Chicago Bears on Oct. 26, and Jackson then led it to a 28-6 win over the Miami Dolphins and a 27-19 victory over the Minnesota Vikings after returning from his hamstring injury.
If the Ravens win on Sunday, they'll be 5-5 heading into matchups with the 2-8 New York Jets and the 3-7 Cincinnati Bengals. They'd also be just one game behind the 6-4 Pittsburgh Steelers for first place in the AFC North.
