Ravens HC John Harbaugh on Deshaun Watson: 'Basically, we're kind of zero tolerance'

Cleveland Browns owners Dee and Jimmy Haslam, the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center, the National Organization of Women, and Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski all offered reactions to the Monday news that NFL disciplinary officer Sue L. Robinson ruled that Cleveland quarterback Deshaun Watson should be suspended for six games over numerous allegations of sexual misconduct during massage sessions.

The NFL has said it is "reviewing Judge Robinson’s imposition of a six-game suspension and will make a determination on next steps" regarding a potential appeal. As things stand today, however, Watson is scheduled to make his official Browns debut at the Baltimore Ravens in Week 7 on Oct. 23.

Per Ryan Mink of the Ravens' website, Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh was asked about Watson's punishment on Monday afternoon.

"I do have a lot of opinions on it. I'm just not at liberty to share them at this time. That's for the league to decide," Harbaugh responded.

Harbaugh also explained how individuals such as Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti and former team president Dick Cass made it clear the organization would not pursue players linked with the mistreatment of women following the situation involving former Baltimore running back Ray Rice, who struck his now-wife in Feb. 2014.

"I respect what Steve Bisciotti and Dick Cass created here almost 10 years ago," Harbaugh added during his comments. "Basically, we're kind of zero tolerance. You have to know the truth, you have to try to understand the circumstances, but we've stayed away from that particular situation – when we draft players, when we sign them as free agents. That's Steve's decision, and I'm glad that we have that policy."

The Ravens face the Browns in Cleveland in Week 15 on Dec. 18.
