Last season Baltimore Ravens star running back Derrick Henry was on the brink of history, rushing for 1,921 yards.
He was just 79 yards short of eclipsing the momentous 2,000 mark - something Henry has already done once in his career (2,027 yards in 2020 with the Tennessee Titans).
Including Henry, only nine players have ever rushed for 2,000 yards in a season.
But nobody has ever done it twice.
In speaking on The Dan Patrick Show, "King Henry" humbling said 2,000 yards wasn't much of a goal last season, despite how close he was to reaching it.
Patrick was wearing a sweatshirt from Adam Sandler's "Happy Gilmore 2" collection. The Hall-of-Fame radio host, who has appeared in numerous cameos in his movies, is close friends with Sandler.
Henry approved, saying that Sandler is his favorite actor.
Then, Patrick promised he would try to get Henry a role in a Sandler film if he reaches the 2,000-yard mark this season.
"Say no more. Remember that now," Henry said with a smile.
"The bet is on. No pressure at all."
It's a bet! @KingHenry_2 rushes for 2000 yards next season and DP gets him in a @AdamSandler movie. pic.twitter.com/GY2om9gNO6

This may be all the motivation Henry needs to make NFL history in 2025.
Last season's showing for the Ravens ball carrier is still a large act to follow. He played in all 17 games and took an average of almost 20 handoffs a game (325 total).
In his 2020 season, he received 378 handoffs to hit that 2,000 mark. He may have been very close to reaching the milestone if he had been given the ball 23 more times last season...
So with a Sandler cameo on the line, expect Henry to get plenty of touches in 2025.
Sandler's "Happy Gilmore 2", the sequel to the iconic 1996 film, releases on July 25.
