Ravens' Kyle Hamilton leaves game vs. 49ers with knee injury

Kyle Hamilton left the Baltimore Ravens’ road matchup against the San Francisco 49ers with a knee injury.

Hamilton suffered the injury after he brought down Brandon Aiyuk on the wideout’s 22-yard reception in the fourth quarter. The second-year safety was clutching his knee in clear pain following the play.

Hamilton was able to head on over to the sideline after the play and he subsequently went into the medical tent. He later made his way out of the medical tent but sat out the remainder of the drive, as Baltimore called on Geno Stone to fill in for the former Notre Dame standout. 

The Ravens later ruled Hamilton as doubtful to return due to his knee injury.

Hamilton has been a standout performer against the 49ers, tallying a combined five total tackles and two interceptions. This comes a mere two weeks after he sustained a reported sprained MCL ailment during Baltimore’s home game against the Los Angeles Rams. He went on to receive the green light to play in Baltimore’s road win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he featured in all 62 of its snaps on defense.

Hamilton sits at 81 total tackles recorded and four interceptions tallied through 15 games played this season.
