Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens didn't have the 2025 NFL season they were hoping for, finishing with an 8-9 record and missing out on the playoffs for the first time since 2021. The Ravens came just one win away from the AFC North title, but ultimately lost out on it after falling to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the regular season finale.
While Baltimore may have struggled in 2025, the same cannot be said about Jackson. In 13 games played, the former Louisville Cardinals quarterback completed 192-of-302 passes for 2,549 yards, 21 touchdowns and seven interceptions, while adding another 349 yards and two scores on the ground. But he will be without head coach John Harbaugh heading into 2026, with another pair of key offensive weapons set to depart as well.
Tyler Linderbaum was selected by the Ravens with the No. 25 pick in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft. The former Iowa center earned Baltimore's starting center job immediately during his rookie year, a role he has held while working with Jackson ever since. In his four seasons, Linderbaum has become one of the best offensive linemen in the NFL, earning three Pro Bowl nods.
However, after the 2025 season, the Ravens elected not to exercise Linderbaum's $23.4 million option, becoming an unrestricted free agent. And sure enough, the center has decided to make a change, signing a three-year, $81 million deal with the Las Vegas Raiders, becoming one of the NFL's highest-paid offensive linemen.
"ESPN Sources: former Ravens free-agent center Tyler Linderbaum reached agreement today on a record deal with the Raiders, who are awarding him with a three-year, $81 million deal that includes $60 million guaranteed and makes him the highest paid interior offensive lineman in NFL history," ESPN's Adam Schefter wrote on X.

To make matters worse for the Ravens, tight end Isaiah Likely will be departing as well, signing a three-year, $40 million deal with the New York Giants, leaving Jackson without his starting center and one of his top pass-catchers in 2026.
"BREAKING: The #Giants are signing former #Ravens TE Isaiah Likely to a 3-year, $40M contract with upside to $47.5M, per multiple sources," NFL insider Jordan Schultz wrote on X. "Deal done by @ErikBurkhardt of @RocNationSports. The deal makes Likely the 3rd-highest paid TE in the NFL, and pairs him with Jaxson Dart and Malik Nabers as a dangerous offense in NYC."

With the legal tampering period underway, Linderbaum and Likely won't be able to officially put pen to paper until Wednesday, when free agency officially opens.
