According to Adam Schefter, the Ravens have determined QB Tyler Huntley‘s turf toe injury is season-ending.
Baltimore’s nightmare at quarterback continues as in the span of a couple hours they lost their top two quarterbacks for the season.
Huntley was forced out of Sunday’s loss to the Bills with a turf toe injury. It’s a painful injury despite its modest name — it describes torn toe ligaments — and usually requires a multi-week absence.
Minter announced UDFA QB Joe Fagnano, their third-string quarterback going into this past weekend, would start Thursday against the Jaguars.
Baltimore has added Austin Reed and Kedon Slovis to the roster this week and more moves could be coming.
Huntley, 28, went undrafted out of Utah back in 2020 before catching on with the Ravens. He bounced on and off the practice squad before eventually making his debut, replacing QB Lamar Jackson.
Baltimore re-signed Huntley as a restricted free agent back in April of 2023. He joined the Browns as a free agent in 2024 but was cut loose coming out of the preseason and rejoined the Ravens on the practice squad.
The Dolphins signed Huntley to their active roster, and he started five games for the team in 2024. He then returned to Cleveland for a brief stint last year before returning to Baltimore. The Ravens then signed Huntley to a two-year deal earlier this offseason.
In 2026, Huntley has appeared in five games for the Ravens with three starts and has completed 69.1 percent of passes for 727 yards, four touchdowns and an interception. He’s also rushed 18 times for 76 yards and a touchdown.
We’ll have more on the Ravens as the news becomes available.
