Ravens receive worst AFC North free-agency grade

The Ravens offseason has not gone as planned and Pro Football Focus' free-agency grade for them reflects that.

Baltimore received a C- from PFF, by far the worst grade in the AFC North.

It doesn't come at a surprise, however, as the Ravens were just one of two teams for a while to not acquire a player from another team. That changed last Friday when Baltimore signed former Patriots WR Nelson Agholor to a one-year deal.

Ravens fans were hoping the team had something much better up its sleeve after taking so long to make its first outside move. Agholor, who had 362 yards last season, should fit right in with Baltimore's receiver corps that didn't have a player eclipse 500 yards in 2022.

It certainly feels like the team got worse after losing multiple starters in guard Ben Powers, safety Chuck Clark and DE Calais Campbell, and only resigning RB Justice Hill, safety Geno Stone and long snapper Nick Moore.

It's also scary to think that Baltimore could still get worse if it does lose Lamar Jackson, who is the reason for the team's inactivity, after he announced he requested a trade on March 2.

The Ravens are not only falling behind in the AFC North but the entire league. Maybe even a C- is a generous grade.
