Ravens' win vs. 49ers sets 'MNF' record

The streak of upsets started on Nov. 13 in Week 10 when the Denver Broncos defeated the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium, 24-22. The host Bills were 7.5-point favorites entering the contest, but the Broncos defense forced four turnovers and kicker Wil Lutz had a monster performance with four field goals, including the game-winning 36-yarder as time expired in regulation.

In a Super Bowl LVII rematch between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles in Week 11, the host Chiefs were just 2.5-point favorites. Kansas City held a 17-7 halftime lead before being shut out after the break and watching Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts score two rushing touchdowns in a 21-17 final.

In a Week 12 "MNF" contest that had just one touchdown, the visiting Chicago Bears edged the NFC North-rival Minnesota Vikings, 12-10. The Vikings were 3.0-point favorites but Bears kicker Cairo Santos nailed four field goals, including a 55-yarder early in the fourth quarter and a game-winner from 30 yards out with 10 seconds left in the frame.

In Week 13, the Jake Browning-led Cincinnati Bengals went into Duval County and surprised the Jacksonville Jaguars, 34-31 in overtime. The Jags came into the contest as 10.0-point favorites, but Browning was brilliant, going 32-for-37 for 354 passing yards and one touchdown (adding a rushing score) and kicker Evan McPherson hit the game-winning 48-yard field goal in overtime.

The NFL had a pair of "MNF" games running at the same time in Week 14.

In one contest, undrafted rookie quarterback Tommy DeVito led the New York Giants (6.0-point home underdogs) to a dramatic 24-22 win against the Green Bay Packers. In the AFC, rookie signal-caller Will Levis helped the Tennessee Titans pull off an even bigger upset over the host (and 13.5-point favorite) Miami Dolphins, 28-27.

In Week 15, the Seattle Seahawks defended their home field against the Eagles, despite being 3.0-point underdogs, with a come-from-behind 20-10 victory. Drew Lock hooked up with rookie wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba on the game-winning touchdown pass with 28 seconds left in the fourth quarter.
