The Baltimore Ravens got quite the injury scare during Monday’s training camp practice. Ravens receiver Zay Flowers appeared to suffer an injury after colliding with Jaylinn Hawkins on a route. Fortunately, the star wide receiver is looking a lot better after just one day of rest.

Flowers is back at Ravens practice on Tuesday after picking up a quad contusion, per ESPN’s Jamison Hensley. Video shows Flowers in full pads at practice, playing catch with a member of Baltimore’s coaching staff.

Ravens head coach Jesse Minter did not sound too concerned about Flowers after Monday’s practice. So it is not too surprising to hear that he’s on the mend.

“I feel good that he’ll be back out here being Zay here really soon,” Minter said on Monday.

Ravens fans must be thrilled to see that Flowers is okay, especially after his recent payday. Baltimore gave Flowers a $140 million extension on August 4th, locking him up through the 2031 season.

Flowers earned that contract by putting up the best stats of his career in 2025. He logged 86 receptions for 1,211 receiving yards and five touchdowns during the regular season.

The new contract makes it clear that Baltimore has big plans for Flowers in the future. Flowers projects as the primary option in Baltimore’s passing game alongside Rashod Bateman and Mark Andrews.

Flowers will be heavily involved, but his actual usage could be a bit different in 2026. Remember, offensive coordinator Declan Doyle is now in charge on offense. The young OC could bring some big schematic changes with him to the Ravens.

It will be exciting to see how Flowers fits into Baltimore’s new-look offense later this fall.

The Ravens start the regular season with a road game against the Colts. That contest kicks off at 1PM ET from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
