Recap of Sunday’s Dolphins Training Camp Practice

The Miami Dolphins had their fourth training camp practice on Sunday. It was the first practice open to the public, and fans were in attendance.

The players were not wearing pads, but Jeff Hafley said prior to the practice that the team will be in pads on Monday.

Chris Johnson had an interception on a Quinn Ewers pass intended for AJ Henning.

Jordan Phillips beat Jonah Savaiinaea to get pressure on Malik Willis

Quinn Ewers hit Cole Turner for a 15-or-so-yard pass play over the middle

Ollie Gordon ran for about 5 yards up the gut

Cameron Goode recovered a fumble on a bad exchange between QB Cam Miller and RB Anthony Hankerson

Chop Robinson beat Austin Jackson on a play and would have gotten to the QB

Malik Willis hit TuTu Atwell on a 70+ yard pass play

De’Von Achane had a running play to the left for about 12 yards

Caleb Douglas dropped a 15-yard pass from Malik Willis

Cam Miller hit Jalen Reagor for a five-yard catch

Josh Uche got around Austin Jackson to get pressure on Malik Willis to force an errant pass

Kenneth Grant and Zach Sieler had a Tackle for Loss on a running play, stopping De’Von Achane in the backfield

Malik Willis hit Malik Washington for a deep downfield pass, about a 22-yard catch and run play

Quinn Ewers hit Ben Sims for about 6 yards

Kevin Coleman Jr dropped a 10-yard pass from Cam Miller

Quinn Ewers hit Theo Wease over the middle of the field for about 15 yards

Jacob Rodriguez stopped Malik Washington in the backfield on a running play

Defense jumped offsides on a play

Bad center exchange between Aaron Brewer and Malik Willis

Jaylen Wright with a 3- to 4-yard run to the left

Malik Willis threw back-to-back incompletions to Caleb Douglas

Malik Washington took a handoff and ran for about 6 or 7 yards to the left

Cam Miller hit AJ Henning on a long pass completion on the final play of practice

Malik Willis threw a touch pass to Cole Miller for a nice completion

Jaylen Wright had a 4-yard run

Donovan Edwards had a 5-yard run

Quinn Ewers hit Kevin Coleman Jr for a 70-yard pass (the defensive back fell down on the play)

NOTES: Overall, a bad day for the secondary, and a few WR’s had some drops, but the offense was better and continues to improve with each practice.
