Saleh is considered a front-runner for the Jets position, though every team with a coaching vacancy is highly interested in his services. The 41-year-old has been one of the NFL's hottest head-coaching candidates, interviewing with the Atlanta Falcons, Detroit Lions, Jacksonville Jaguars and Los Angeles Chargers.
Saleh has been San Francisco's defensive coordinator since Kyle Shanahan took over as head coach in 2017.
The Eagles fired former head coach Doug Pederson after a 4-11-1 campaign. Philadelphia will also interview New England Patriots linebackers coach Jerod Mayo, Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive coordinator Todd Bowles and Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator Arthur Smith.
