San Francisco 49ers defensive tackle Kalia Davis is having surgery on Friday to repair a broken hand, NFL Network reported.

Davis reportedly could miss at least two games after sustaining the injury in Thursday night's 26-23 overtime road win against the NFC West rival Los Angeles Rams.

Davis, who turned 27 on Thursday, has started all five games for the 49ers (4-1) this season and contributed seven tackles with two tackles for loss.

A sixth-round draft pick in 2022, Davis has recorded 20 tackles, one sack and one interception in 21 career games (five starts).
