A piece of the Bengals' front office is gaining more ground for an open general manager spot. According to CBS Sports's Jonathan Jones, the New York Jets have requested a second interview with Bengals senior personnel executive Trey Brown for their open general manager position.
They are also extending a second interview to Denver Broncos assistant general manager Darren Mougey and already had one with Commanders AGM Lance Newmark.
Brown is essentially the right-hand man to Duke Tobin and has received a plethora of GM looks over the past few years. He joined the Bengals front office in 2021.
The Jets are planning second interviews with Broncos AGM Darren Mougey and Bengals senior personnel executive Trey Brown for their vacant GM position, sources tell @NFLonCBS. The Jets had a second interview with Commanders AGM Lance Newmark yesterday, as well.
