Report: Giants' Aldrick Rosas arrested for alleged hit-and-run

For the second time in roughly one month, a New York Giants player is allegedly in trouble with the law.

On Tuesday, TMZ Sports reported that placekicker Aldrick Rosas was arrested in California at around 8:30 a.m. local time after he t-boned a pickup truck at an intersection and then left the scene.

The report adds that Rosas was driving erratically and potentially at speeds over 100 MPH, and that he ran a red light to cause the accident. The 25-year-old suffered multiple non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local medical facility. He was later booked on multiple charges, including hit-and-run and driving while on a suspended license.

It's suspected alcohol may have been involved.

Last month, New York Giants cornerback and 2019 first-round selection Deandre Baker and Seattle Seahawks defensive back Quinton Dunbar were arrested on multiple charges related to an alleged robbery. Baker pleaded not guilty.

Rosas has kicked for the Giants since 2017 when he made his NFL regular-season debut. He converted 12-of-17 field goals last year.

Rosas and the Giants put pen to paper on a restricted free agent contract in April
