Russell Wilson's situation with the Seattle Seahawks continues to get more interesting by the day.
The veteran quarterback fired a shot at the franchise earlier this week by saying he's "frustrated at getting hit too much." He also expressed a desire to be more involved in personnel decisions. Seattle is reportedly unhappy with Wilson's comments, sparking trade rumors and more phone calls regarding the 32-year-old.
According to Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio, Wilson has not asked the Seahawks to trade him. Florio adds that Wilson's situation with Seattle is "fluid."
It wouldn't make sense for the Seahawks to trade Wilson. He has led the franchise to winning records in each of his nine seasons. However, they might not have a choice if he tries to force his way out of Seattle.
We've seen Deshaun Watson request a trade from the Texans, who insist they aren't trading him, but after J.J. Watt's release, they might have to. If things continue to move in the wrong direction in Seattle, Wilson could end up in a similar situation to Watson.
