Retired Saints QB Drew Brees makes about $15 million per year from endorsements

Future Hall of Famer Drew Brees will likely never have to worry about running out of money in retirement.

According to Forbes (h/t Front Office Sports), the former New Orleans Saints quarterback makes about $15 million per year from endorsements. Some of his collaborations include Nike, Verizon, Dunkin' Donuts and Microsoft.

The 42-year-old earned more than $247 million playing in the NFL. His $15 million in endorsement money leads all NFL players, according to Forbes.

In addition to the money earned during his playing career and through endorsements, Brees will also make plenty of dough as a studio analyst for NBC Sports. The two-time Offensive Player of the Year will serve as a studio analyst for "Football Night in America" and a game analyst for Notre Dame football.

Brees retired as the NFL's all-time leading passer with 80,358 yards, and he's second all-time with 571 touchdown passes. He led the Saints to their first, and only, Super Bowl title in SB XLIV in 2010.
