Rob Gronkowski is used to all of the comparisons between himself and Travis Kelce.
Both men are future Hall of Famers with multiple Super Bowls rings and individual achievements to their names. Currently, Kelce owns the all-time postseason records for receiving yards (2,029) and touchdowns (20) by a tight end and also had more regular season receiving yards than Gronkowski, but the former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers star has the Kansas City Chiefs legend beat in career touchdowns, 108 to 100.
In an appearance on The Today Show, Gronkowski got honest about Kelce, whom he called "one of the best postseason players of all time."
"He's broken some of your records," co-host Craig Melvin said.
"He broke 'em all in the playoffs!" Gronkowski responded, drawing laughs.
Melvin then asked how "hard" it was for Gronkowski to watch Kelce break marks that "a lot of folks thought would stand for a long time."
"I mean I know Travis, I'm happy for him," Gronkowski said. "He's obviously put the work and dedication in to break all those records and to be where he's at. You can only applaud that. Because when someone's put in the work to be at that level, you gotta appreciate that and that's a good representation of what to do to get up in life and be the best."

One area where Gronkowski still has Kelce beat is Super Bowl rings. He owns four, three with the Patriots and one with the Bucs, while Kelce "only" has three.
Kelce can tie him with a fourth title when the Chiefs face the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 59 on Feb. 9. Gronkowski will be part of FOX's pregame coverage that day.
"It's a new feeling right now, but I'm just excited," Kelce said following the Chiefs' 32-29 win over the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship Game last Sunday night. "I'm happy for the guys that are doing this for the first time, trying to make it everything for them. But I know there's bigger fish to fry and that's the Philadelphia Eagles down there in New Orleans."
